Marketing systems for home service businesses · Dallas, TX
Every lead worked. Every estimate chased. Every customer brought back.
I build and run the marketing that turns your leads, open estimates, and past customers into booked jobs, inside the system your team already uses. One person, based in Dallas.

The actual problem
You don't have a lead problem. You have a follow-up problem.
Most home service companies I meet are already spending enough on ads. The leads are arriving. What's missing is the boring, relentless follow-through that turns a form fill into a booked job — because the person who'd have to do it is on a roof, under a sink, or asleep.
That work is mechanical. Which means it can be automated, once, properly — and then it happens every time without anyone remembering to do it.
- Leads sit for hours because everyone's on a job site
- Estimates go out and never get chased past one voicemail
- Missed calls after 5pm are just gone — no text, no callback
- Review requests happen when someone remembers, so basically never
- Your CRM, your forms, and your booking tool don't talk to each other
- Nobody actually knows which ads produced which booked jobs
What I build
Seven systems. Each one closes a specific leak.
Speed-to-Lead Campaigns
Every new lead gets a personal text within 60 seconds, day or night, before your competitor picks up the phone.
First responder on every lead, automatically.
Outbound Campaigns
Proactive text and email campaigns to the list you already own — past customers, aged leads, expired estimates, maintenance due.
Jobs from the database you already paid for.
Open Estimate Follow-Up
Multi-touch sequences that keep working an unsigned estimate for weeks instead of dying after one voicemail.
More of the estimates you already wrote turn into signed jobs.
Review Request Campaigns
Automated review requests timed to fire when the job is done and the customer is happiest, routed to Google where it moves the map pack.
A steady drip of new Google reviews without anyone remembering to ask.
Lead Nurture & Lifecycle Campaigns
New customer welcomes, appointment confirmations and reminders, and the long slow drip that keeps you top of mind until they're ready.
Nobody goes cold between the first call and the next job.
Email Marketing
Monthly newsletters and seasonal campaigns that keep your name in the inbox — written, built, scheduled, and measured.
A list that produces work instead of sitting there.
Done-For-You CRM Builds
I work inside your CRM as an agent on your account — building audiences, wiring automations, creating reports, and connecting APIs. You don't switch platforms and you don't learn a new one.
The build happens in your system, by someone who does this daily.
Done-for-you
You don't have to switch platforms. I'll work in yours.
Add me as a user on your ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, or Jobber account and I build inside it — on your data, in the system your office already knows. When we're done, the work stays with you. Nothing is locked in a platform I control.
How DFY builds workBuilding audiences
Segmenting your customer database into lists worth marketing to — by service, by equipment age, by last job date, by ZIP.
Setting up automations
The workflows, triggers, and sequences that fire without anyone remembering to push a button.
Creating reports
Dashboards that answer which campaigns produced booked revenue, not which ones got opens.
API connections
Making your CRM, forms, phone system, and accounting talk to each other so nothing gets rekeyed by hand.
Who I work with
Home services, because that's where I'm strongest.
I've narrowed on purpose. Knowing that a roofer's year is made in the two weeks after a hailstorm, and an HVAC company's is made in August, changes what you automate and when it fires.
Why one person
The name isn't modesty. It's the product.
At an agency, the person who sold you isn't the person who builds it, and neither is the person who answers when it breaks. Every handoff loses something.
I'm Avery. I take a small number of clients so that the person who scoped your automation is the person who wrote it and the person who fixes it. You text me. I answer.
That caps how many companies I can take on, which is the honest trade — but it means nothing about your business gets explained twice.
More about how I workQuestions
Before you book a call
- What does marketing automation actually do for a home service business?
- It handles the follow-up nobody has time for. A lead comes in at 7pm — automation texts them in under a minute, books them on your calendar, reminds them the morning of, asks for a review when the job is done, and keeps working the estimate if they don't sign. You do the work; the system does the chasing.
- Do I have to switch software?
- No. If you already run ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, Jobber, or something similar, I work inside it as an agent on your account — building the audiences, automations, reports, and connections in the system your team already knows. If you don't have a CRM yet, or the pieces you have don't talk to each other, I'll pick the right tools for the job and set them up for you.
- What does 'working in my CRM as an agent' mean, exactly?
- You add me as a user on your account with the permissions you're comfortable with. I build in your environment, you can see everything I do, and when the engagement ends the work stays with you. Nothing is trapped in a platform I control or resold back to you as a subscription.
- How long does setup take?
- Most builds are live in two to three weeks. Speed-to-lead and missed-call text-back are usually running in the first week, because those stop the bleeding fastest.
- Am I working with you or with an account manager?
- Me. It's one person — that's the whole point of the name. You get my cell number, not a ticket queue.
- Do you work outside Texas?
- Yes, but Texas is where I focus. I'm based in Dallas, and I know the market, the seasonality, and the competition in DFW, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio well enough to skip the discovery phase most agencies bill you for.
